Internships suck. Juniors get strung along contract after contract with low pay, no benefits and no job security. So, in 2017 we came up Zulu Alpha Kilo’s “$40k A Year Employeeship”. An initiative that gives any recent graduate a chance to forego an internship and get a real paid job.
The 10 candidates with the best books were invited in for a paid single day bootcamp, where 2 lucky grads walked away with a job and a $5K signing bonus.
